The graphics are very nice, controls are good too.The narration is well done. I've played the game in german (it's set to English, but I still hear german dialogs) and the voice actors are very nice.So far this was one of the games that really felt like a complete game for VR. Can't wait to see how the story progresses further. :). The only thing worse than the glitches in this game is the save system. The only thing worse than the save system is when it harasses you in tandem with the glitches. Got stuck at the end of chapter 10, and found myself unable to leave. None of the (extremely tedious) progress was saved. I left the game for a while and came back to it today. Now the audio gets turned off when I try to adjust the levels from the system menu. This does not happen with any other VR game I own. The combination of unstable code and extremely bad design decisions makes this game unplayable. The puzzles are not enjoyable, the story is very poor, and the environment design is only very ocasionally interesting.Better luck next time.. I feel really sorry to write this. But the game is uplayable if you are using HTC VIVE. It has loads of bugs, and has no support of vive controllers. How can I get the refund?. Ok experience for the Vive. Puzzles were not very challenging and it was more of an Interactive movie one could say. Story line was pretty cool, but very short. I wouldn't consider this a must buy and would only pick it up if you are starving for Vive content.. Great graphics, Great sound with positioning, Very immersive, Intuitive, Good Story and so on.But also some negatives. It is too addictive after playing for a day the storyline was completed. I will revisit the game to see for the small other things that are still discoverable.I would really love to see a part 2. Same kind of story. With the same awesome graphics (I have run this game on a GTX960 and it was already spectacular). Same sound design etc.. Fantastic puzzle/exploration game that really shows off what VR is capable of, I've enjoyed every second so far and definitely recommend it!. One of the most original games I've ever played, The Assembly is based on extremely mature themes, highbrow ideas and more than a touch of science fiction. It is one of a new breed of indie games which delph into more serious and adult topics which borders on philosophical, making gaming an infinitely more cerebral experience which feels so much less passive and far more intellectually engaging. The Assembly sees the player take two roles - two characters whose paths are intertwined, both based in the Assembly, an elite and secretive research society where science appears to bypass ethical and moral boundaries, and whose funding seems to be infinite. New employees are kidnapped and have to pass tests before earning the lucrative position, and if they reject it, have their brain wiped of memory of the entire incident before being returned to the real world. The player is one such, Madeleine Stone, and an existing employee, Caleb Pearson, whose destinies play a vital role in the future of the organisation. The Assembly is primarily built for VR, but keyboard and mouse works perfectly even if the gameplay and interactivity levels are limited - it works seamlessly, and it really is more of a story with some puzzles and button pressing. It also looks pretty good for an indie game, employing the very solid UE4. And the voice acting? Best I've heard in a video game - the main two protagonists are beautifully voiced, and the supporting cast isn't bad either. The plot isn't easy to digest; it is deliberately a bit more highbrow than most video games, and a bit of knowledge of science jargon will definitely help; this is a game for a specific audience - most Joe and Jane Punters will not get this, and that is no insult to their intelligence. But if you do grasp where the story is going it'll grip you endlessly, and you'll be captivated to the end. It's not the longest game, weighing in at about 4 hours, and is a bit pricey for that length, but the sheer quality does compensate for this with essentially a level of production which verges on AAA.It's not for everyone - with some psychology, science, philosophy, ethical and moral questions in there, but if these themes appeal to you this will be for you. Highly recommended.. Creative+Decent Length+Plays on Anxieties-Pricey-Plays on Anxieties-Controls sometimes wonky3/5Fun little VR Experience, Would definitely rate higher if it didn't cost so much, or if it were a longer experience.
